Wayne has enjoyed a satisfying and successful career working for over 30 years in the Electrical Industry for Ontario Hydro and Hydro One. Throughout his time, he had the opportunity to learn, develop and diversify at Ontario’s largest electrical transmission and distribution company, as he grew from an Apprentice into various Senior Management roles.
In 2010 through 2021 Wayne made a career change and joined the college sector, as a Post Secondary Administrator. During this period, Wayne held the positions of Associate Dean – Skilled Trades and Apprenticeship, Acting Dean – School of Community, Justice and Liberal Studies, and Dean of Skilled Trades and Apprenticeship. During his tenure he was known as an excellent communicator, strategic thinker with business insight, political savvy and the ability to advocate on major initiatives engaging community networks and strategic alliances.
Wayne is excited for the opportunity to be a board member, supporting the initiatives and endeavours for Wellkin.
