Kelsey Vanoverbeke was born and raised in Norfolk County and grew up on a tobacco farm. Kelsey has been involved in the Oxford Community for a number of years, starting as a summer student at Community Employment Services back in 2014. As a registered social worker, Kelsey has a background in child protection where she supported families that struggled with mental health, addictions, domestic violence, poverty, and parenting struggles for close to 10 years. Now, Kelsey is a child therapist and brings an understanding of community need and gaps in services to our Board.
Kelsey has a passion for supporting children and youth with mental health and a drive to provide efficient and effective services to the community, families and children.
