Mike Gobeil was born and raised in Kingston. He has been a part of Law Enforcement and Education, in Ontario, since 1974. Throughout his 41-year career, Mike had the opportunity to serve in many aspects of policing and government. In particular, the topics of Domestic Violence, Elder Abuse, child Abuse, Death Notification and Victimization have been a passion for over 30 years.
From 1998 to 2015, Mike was an Instructor and Coordinator at the Ontario Police College and has lived in Oxford and Elgin counties since then.
Since 2015, Mike has been an Adjunct Professor at Fanshawe College and is working with MADD Canada in the delivery of the successful Death Notification Training Program.
