As VP, Brokering and Insurer Relationships, Commercial and Personal Insurance, at Cowan Insurance Group, Pam brings her technical expertise and strong market relationships with her to the Board role. Along with accountability for insurer relationships and brokering deals for all Personal and Commercial lines, Pam also holds functional responsibility for Claims and Compliance for Cowan’s Personal and Commercial operations.
Pam has a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Political Science from the University of Calgary. She obtained her Chartered Insurance Professional and Fellow Chartered Insurance Professional designations in 2001. Pam achieved her RIBO principal broker qualifications in 2019, and a Certificate in Executive Leadership, from McMaster University through DeGroote’s Executive Leadership Program in 2013.
Pam has a long history of volunteering, with involvement in 4-H from a young age as well as leading a cooperative dance school. Pam lives in Woodstock with her 2 daughters.
